terms
Last updated 28 October 2026
These are the terms for using Good Bits, the app made by Raneem Hossam. By using it, you agree to them. They're short on purpose.
your album is yours
Everything you add stays yours. You let Good Bits store it, and back it up if you choose, only so the app can do that for you. You can take all of it with you at any time: Settings, then "export my album".
Plus
- Plus is sold in the app through the App Store or Google Play, as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time purchase. The price is shown before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account. A subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can turn off renewal any time in your phone's subscription settings. Plus then lasts until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, under their rules.
- The one-time purchase keeps Plus for as long as Good Bits runs.
- If Plus ends, your album stays on your phone and stays yours; backup and sync stop.
fair use
Please don't use Good Bits to store anything illegal, or try to break, overload or get into parts of the service that aren't yours. An account that does may be closed.
the service
Good Bits is made with care by one person and provided as it is. I work hard to keep your album and your backup safe, but no app can promise it will never lose anything, so keep an export of anything you can't bear to lose. As far as the law allows, I'm not responsible for lost data or for indirect losses from using the app. Nothing here takes away rights you have by law.
If Good Bits ever has to close, I'll say so in the app at least 30 days before, so you have time to export your album.
if you got Good Bits from the App Store
Apple's standard licence agreement applies too. These terms are between you and me, not Apple, and Apple isn't responsible for the app or its support.
changes
If these terms change, the new version goes here with a new date. Big changes will also be mentioned in the app.
